Summary: We did appreciate our stay at Westin. We had tried the ritz and the kimpton in the past year as well. Location is great for walking and for walking to restaurants. Beach is pristine. Honestly it felt like we paid similar price to Ritz and kimpton but without any luxury features at the Westin. We had to pay for the floaters 20US each day. Horrible Maxwell coffee in the room. Only other choice is coffee at the coffee shop 8US. We were not allowed to bring real wine glasses to our room (the bar would only let us if we pay for their wine while we just wanted an empty normal glass!!!) and they would only sometimes find us plastic dirty wine glasses for the room. Beach house restaurant was fantastic and we will definitely go back even if staying somewhere else. Easter weekend was packed with kids and family but got quieter after. Overall we would probably go back but they should definitely upgrade some things. Felt like for a similar price to Kimpton and Ritz, there were no luxury, nothing complimentary.

Summary: We had a great trip and we very happy with the Westin. The food and service were great, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I think the only criticism would be a slightly larger/more comfortable room, but all in all we give it a 9 out of 10.

Summary: Located on the 7 mile beach the property is beautiful. We did spent most of the time at the beach as opposed to the pools. The pools were often overrun with children everywhere. We ate the Tortuga Grill on the property a few times and the Lobster Roll was fantastic. The Coffee Shop was easily one of the best features of the resort. A great menu with delicious options. My issue was they had slow plumbing. Both the sink and the bathtub would get backed up with water. Also we asked the beach amenities people if they had floaties and they said they didn’t carry them. The next day we saw large yellow foam lounge floaters that people were using. Upon checking back with the beach amenities they told us to go to the next window (water sports). And when we went they were renting those floats out for $20 a day. Which I didn’t mind paying but why weren’t we told that they did have those the day before? Other than that a beautiful resort with a great spa on one of the best beaches.

Summary: It was good overall. Very friendly staff, good bartenders, great service overall. However. As one of the more premium options, it could have been better. The hot tub was run over constantly by screaming kids, only pool was a play ground for children, and the pool bar smelled of bar mold which happens when they don’t get cleaned properly. Parking is free, but there could be more of it. Coffee was good, but it was ultra expensive and the line was always minimum 6-8 deep.
